Pewter Data at a glance
The short version of who we are, what we do, what it costs and how records are protected. Each answer links to the page with the detail.
What does Pewter Data do?
Pewter Data helps owners of established US firms license de-identified copies of their business records (email, files and operating records) to AI developers. Pewter sizes the records, brings a written offer from its licensing partner, and coordinates the deal through payment. The licensing partner makes the offer, signs the license and pays the owner. How it works.
Who runs Pewter Data?
Pewter was founded in October 2026 by Chelunor (Lawrence) Nwajei, Nick Konstantinidis and Troy Aitken, all Managing Partners. Lawrence is based in New York; Nick and Troy are based in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Together they bring more than 25 years of combined enterprise sales experience. About the team.

What does it cost the owner?

Who is the licensing partner?
The licensing partner makes the offer, signs the license with the owner and pays the owner. Pewter does not name it on the site; the owner learns who it is before signing anything.
Which companies fit?
Typically firms with 20 or more people, now or at peak, and three or more years of records, based in the US and working mainly in English. Operating, winding down and closed firms all qualify if the records exist.
Which records are in demand?
Records that show skilled work step by step: logistics, accounting, engineering, construction, distribution and manufacturing are in highest demand.
How are people in the records protected?
Identifying details about clients and staff are removed or replaced with consistent placeholders before delivery. No de-identification method removes every risk, so the owner reviews the process and a de-identified sample before signing, and can exclude regulated, privileged or third-party records. Security and data handling.
What control does the owner keep?
The owner approves every term in writing and can walk away at any point. Nothing is licensed until the owner signs. The full export happens only after the owner approves the terms in writing, and is coordinated with the owner's IT person. Before You Sell Your Data.
