What partners ask first
How much can I earn?
10% of what the business you introduce is paid for its data license, up to $100,000 per business. A $650,000 deal earns you $65,000. Commission is paid once per business.
When am I paid?
Within 30 days after the business has been paid and Pewter has received its fee from the licensing partner. We email you at each stage, so you'll know when it's coming.
How do I get credit for an introduction?
Either share your personal link (the owner submits through it) or register the introduction on our referral page. The first partner to register a business gets the credit, and it stays yours for 12 months.
Do I need the owner's permission?
Yes. Only introduce owners who have agreed to hear from us. We contact them once, by phone or email, and never add them to marketing lists.
Does it cost me or my client anything?
No. There's no cost to you or the business at any stage. The business keeps its original records and approves every term before anything is delivered.
What if the deal doesn't close?
Then no commission is owed, and nothing is lost. The introduction stays registered to you for 12 months in case they come back.
Is there an agreement?
Yes, a short standard partner agreement. You sign it online right after you apply, or later from your partner portal. Commission applies to introductions made while you're an approved partner. You'll need to provide a W-9 before your first payment.
